What to Wear
Soft, neutral, and spring-inspired colors always photograph beautifully! I recommend shades like chambray, khaki, pale pink, yellow, soft green, light brown, and cream. Fabrics with a bit of texture—like cozy knits, soft cotton, corduroy, linen, or denim—add a timeless touch.
Quick tip: Searching “neutral spring outfits for boys” or “neutral spring dresses for girls” on Amazon brings up some great options!
That said, if your child’s favorite bright spring outfit or superhero tee is a must, go for it! As a family photographer, I design my setups to be natural and classic, but the most important thing is that you love the final images.
A few more details:
✔️ The photo will be a half-body portrait—only their shirt and pants/dress will show (shoes won’t be visible). They will be seated on the cream chair.
